Rev. Dr. Jackline Warille is the Chairperson of the Board of Directors. She holds professional Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from the University of Liverpool (UK), MSc. In Development Management from the Glasgow Caledonian University (Scotland-UK), MA in Missions Studies from the Africa International University (Kenya), Honours Programme in Public Administration from the University of Khartoum (Sudan) and BSc. in Public Administration and Management from the University of Juba (South Sudan). She acquired many trainings in the humanitarian work including lobby and communication, NGO management, emergency field coordination and working with conflicts. She has demonstrated work experiences in humanitarian work, business and academia. She once worked as a Teaching Assistant in the University of Juba and the Computer Man University College in Khartoum (Sudan). Similarly, she worked with the Institute of Development and Agricultural Studies as a Program Development Officer. Later she moved to the humanitarian world and worked with the Sudan Catholic Bishops Regional Conference in Nairobi as an Assistant Development Officer and then with UNOCHA as a National Field Coordinator. She then moved to the business world and worked with Payii Roads and Bridges Company as the Managing Director. Currently, she is the Chief Executive Director of MaCDA covering Somalia, Kenya and South Sudan. Amongst her other responsibilities is the Chair of the South Sudan Women Campaigners for Peace and Development (Nairobi), Chairperson of Equatoria Women United in Kenya and an active member of South Sudan Women Coalition. Rev. Dr. Jackline Warille is an ordained minister of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan (ECSS), Diocese of Mundri currently serving in Nairobi.

Rev. Jacob Kunyuat Jany is the Vice Chairperson of SPEDP. He is doing PhD in Clinical Psychology from African International University since 2019. He did a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology from African International University in 2019. He obtained certificate in Community-based Trauma Counselling from Reconcile Peace Institute (RPI) in 2016. He is currently working as the University Counsellor at African International University since January 2018. He successfully worked as the Counsellor for African Leadership and Reconciliation Ministries (ALARM) based in UN House from July 2015 to June 2016. He worked as the Emergency Protection Officer in International Rescue Committee (IRC) from February 2014 to June 2015. He also worked as the Regional Coordinator for Timothy Training Institute, Unity State from 2010 – 2012. During his tenure with various organisations, he obtained a wide spectrum of experience including social mobilization, research and knowledge generation.

Mr. Soro Mike Hakim is the co-founder and Secretary for Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SPEDP. He is the Executive Head of the organization. In its 13 years in leadership, Mike has steadily driven SPEDP to the heights now covering 7 out of the 10 States of South Sudan. He is a visionary leader and an efficient manager to drive the organization. He believes in working with and through people. He also believes that if vulnerable people are given with the necessary tools and techniques, they can realize their full potential and stand up to uphold their rights and peacefully coexist in the society to find durable solutions to their socio-economic challenges and improve their quality of lives. Mike holds Master Degree in Democracy and Governance from Africa Nazarene University, Nairobi, Kenya and Degree in NGO Leadership and Management from Busoga University in Uganda.

The Rt. Rev. Abraham Yel Nhial, Member of the Board of Directors, SPEDP. Rt. Rev. Abraham Yel Nhial is the first Bishop of the Diocese of Aweil and has served since 2010. He began his ministry by serving as Children and Youth teacher in Kakuma Refugee Camp in 1994. He was commissioned as an Evangelist in 1995, Ordained to the Holy Order of Deacons in August 2000, ordained in the Holy Order of Priests in July 2009, and Consecrated as Bishop in July 2010. He has ministered as Evangelist and Pastor in a wide variety of Churches these include South Sudanese Church in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Zone One, Two and Six Churches in Kakuma Refugee Camp in Kenya and currently as the Bishop of the Diocese of Aweil, South Sudan. He is a missionary Bishop, devoted to Mission and Evangelism and led many people to Christ. In his ministry, he has a special passion for development and education for children, youths, street/homeless children, and empowering women, soldiers, and refugees. He served as a deputy Chairperson of the Board of Finance at the Province of the Episcopal Church of South Sudan. He is currently a chairperson of the Board of Directors, SSUDRA, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Diocese of Aweil Relief and Development (DARD), Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors of CARD and St. John College, ECSS Northern Bhar El Ghazel Internal Province. Bishop Abraham Yel Nhial is a former Lost Boy from Sudan (the war orphan children), who resettled in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is a Co-author of Lost Boy No More, a former staff of Lost Boys Foundation and Bridging the Gap, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He is referred to as the Spiritual Leader of the Lost Boys for his commitment, work, and outstanding for South Sudanese Community. Bishop Abraham Yel Nhial is a Peacemaker! He works to restore peace and unity in the Church, Community and in the nation. He is a public speaker at Churches, Schools, Colleges, Universities and elsewhere. He is a counselor! Bishop Abraham Yel Nhial holds a Degree in Biblical studies, from Atlanta Christian College, a Master’s of Divinity from Trinity School of Ministry, USA. He is currently studies at St. Paul’s University, Limuru, Kenya and will be graduated with a Master’s of Development, Peace Building, and Conflict Transformation in October 2020.
