Support for Peace and Education Development Programme (SPEDP) is an International Non-Governmental Organization (INGO) founded in 2007 by a team of dedicated professional and social development practitioners. Committed to promoting peace, education and sustainable development, SPEDP operates across several countries in the region. Headquartered in South Sudan, the organization also has a strong presence in Uganda—specifically in Koboko, Yumbe, and Arua Districts—and in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where it is active in Bunia, lturi Province. SPEDP’s cross-border footprint underscores its mission to empower communities and enhance resilience in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is one of the Country with SPEDP Programme. It comprises of five (5) Program-Units;
- Research and innovation
- Non-formal Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET)
- Food Security and Livelihood (FSL)
- Health and Nutrition.
- Protection and good governance.

SPEDP was registered by to the ministry of Justice on 04 Avril 2023 with F.92/D,E/1.516. He also obtained various certificates such as Certificate of Min of Interior No 250/3GI/DAP/100/05/2023., Certificate of Min of Social affairs/ Humanitarian action and national solidarity, No. 195/J-N/2023., Registration and favorable opinion from the min of interior N250/000/359/2023 ON 24/04/2023. Accuse de Reception from the MIN of Planning and cooperation on developmental aid No. 4720 and 2581
SPEDP Also registered at Ituri province with the ministry of Justice on 04/12/2023, No JUST.G.S.120/549 and with DGM and ANR ituri and ONEM. As letter of declaration of existence in Ituri province No 09/SPEDP/ALTE/2023.
